The 3DO, produced by Panasonic in 1993, was the first 32-bit console with impressive FMV and CD-ROM capabilities. Despite its high price, the 3DO had Road Rash, Need for Speed, and Gex. Several manufacturers (Panasonic, Goldstar, Sanyo) produced versions. A fascinating piece of gaming history from the early CD-ROM era.
